Bone Building Yoga:
This yoga class uses wall to generate body weight-bearing moves that increase bone density, a key issue for aging adults. Poses are outlined to combine and compound weight-bearing, wall and floor resisistence simultaneously for more body parts and pathways to activate. It also incorporates guided meditation to momentary access of unconscious mind to liberate prison thoughts of past and future.
Focus here is on four elements of air, fire, water, and earth energy concentration area within. Pranayama control breathing is used to intensify the process and stimulate the sense organs to calm your mind. It also incorporates meditation practice to endure the highest strength which can improve anxiety, forbearance, and attention deficiency and enhanced healthy life.

Yoga:
In the words of Buddha: “Inward calm cannot be sustained unless physical strength is constantly and intelligently replenished.” Scholar, saint, physician Patanjali hundred and fifty years after Buddha discovered yoga to cure random modification of discursive mind for spiritual healing. Attha yoga anusasanam. Yoga chitta vritti nirodha. According to Indian tradition, fundamental truth cannot be attained through daily busy life but only by the concentrated mind.
This concentration of mind is variously called yoga, samadhi, or dhyana. The development of the technique of yoga and meditation for mental discipline in India has always carried with the acquisition of certain miraculous powers (Siddhi). It has been recognized that there is a close relation between the Buddhist techniques of yoga-meditation to the Buddhist cosmologies.
Yoga is vital for making mental maps to organize happiness and compassionate wisdom in activities of daily life. The balance of body, mind, immune system is critically depended on co-authoring our activities, speech, and mind. The weight bearing Buddhist yoga and yoga massage meditation benefits are inconceivable. It improves bone density retention, immune secretion, eliminating muscle pain and muscle spasms, improving natural posture, calming and unblocking the nervous system, promoting a sense of relaxation for improved sleep and increased energy.
It eliminates toxin from the body, toning muscles, increased flexibility and range of movement; improvement of poor digestion, and decreased motor function and neurological problems. Special emphasis is placed here on the musculoskeletal, nervous, respiratory, and cardiovascular system. Yoga poses are based on purifying and balancing Buddhist Nama-Rupa principle. Rupa is the bodily form consisting of the four chief elements, “earth, water, fire, and wind”. For example highest concentration of fire is in our abdomen, water on thighs, earth on the bottoms, and wind energy in upper body.
It is the mental discipline of wind energy breath that creates the conditionality to shift the thinking and to shift the power. The conception of the Buddha is that the vibration between our mind, body, and immune organism material derived from the outside world is inseparably bound together with the four other groups of attachment: Sensations (vedana), Perceptions (Sanna), Sense impressions (sankhara) and Consciousness (vinnana), which is the basis of our (Sila) personality.
Yoga poses are combined and compounded with pranayama, mudras and bhandas which lead the practitioner through the intricacies of musculoskeletal weight-bearing movement. Yoga poses are systematically design to develop multilayer deep energy faculty of concentration with a watchful eye and effortless breath on the subtle aspects (sukksma-bhiyama) of advanced alchemy within: transforms pain into an obvious labor of relaxation and comfort.

Fat Burning Yoga:
Focuses on generating highly charged wind energy weight-bearing heat on lower abdomen, arms and head. The various postures and techniques concentrate deep body-weight bearing belly muscle massage to melt down the abdomen fat elements in all directions. The benefits of a physical practice include but are not limited to long, lean muscles, correct posture, improved breathing, enhanced digestion, better circulation, a relaxed nervous system, and a fortified immune system. The various postures creates an deep body-weight bearing internal massage of the organs, tissues, and muscles and pressure points; prevent atrophy that results from disuse; and released the tension caused by overexertion or misuse of the muscles.

Brain Building Yoga:
Poses are combined with control breathing and are structured to brain weight resistance. There is a intense yet gentle long enduring massage on the pressure points to stimulate deeply grooved and folded cerebral cortex and the limbic system to prevent dendrites atrophy.
Multilayer post modern technology demands our brain capacity of frontal lobes, hippocampus, olfactory gland, and other associative brain muscles to undergo rapid dramatic changes of aging. These neurobics poses are aimed to help you maintain a continuing level of mental fitness, strength, and flexibility as you age. It stimulates patterns of neural activity that create more connections between different brain areas and causes nerve cells to produce natural brain nutrients, called neurotrophins, that can rapidly increase the size and complexity of nerve cell dendrites. The ideal brain poses activates different brain areas in novel ways to increase the plasticity and the range of mental motion.

108 Guided Sound Healing Yoga Prostration
May I receive all the suffering of all beings with clear light?
May they all have joy and all causes of happiness?
May I take on the burdens of all sentient being without feeling burdened?
May they have all the Buddha blessings to comfort their pain?
Much of our vitality is bound and driven by our emotional patterns. They are caught in unproductive, limited and often destructive vicious circles. Whenever these patterns are touched by some event in our lives it can be exhausting and painful as we struggle to regain equilibrium. We may even be dominated by forces we feel utterly powerless to overcome. We may have found strategies to compensate for or anesthetize our distress and sense of limited comfort, but we still fail to release the creative vitality that is innate within the unconscious, untapped and caught in neurotic habits.
Action prayer 108 guided sound healing prostrations are particularly valuable in bringing us into relationship with sacred inner fire. If we can crack these patterns, we may be able to liberate new potentials for growth and creativity. Rather than feeling dissatisfied and frustrated by our limitation and fears. We can awaken resources we perhaps did not know we had. The contents of the unconscious and the shadows are far from being garbage to be abandoned. They are rich manure out of which something vital can grow. This is the stuff out of which our awakened potential emerges to flow more freely and creatively.
Performing this prostration can be thought of as direct operation of the liver and related abdominal muscles and wall. The smooth movement of pranic energy throughout the body is dependent on the “flowing and spreading” action of the liver. The activity of all the organs depends also on the liver. Liver harmonizes the emotion. The gentle sprinkle movements of 108 prostrations are responsible for creating a relaxed easy going environment. Conversely a disharmony of the liver will directly affect the emotional and spiritual states of the individual. Anger and emotional frustrations are respectively intertwined with the liver.
According to the popular legend on the origin of the Buddhist mala practice, king Vaidunia once said to the Buddha: “In recent years, disease, drought, famine, floods, and fire have swept my country to threat my progenies and clans. The people are distressed, and I worry about this night and day without interruption. Ours is a pitiful condition. The totality of the dharma is too profound and extensive for us to practice…..given these circumstances, please teach me just the main wisdom, virtue, and concentration point of the dharma so that I may practice it and teach it to save others”.
Buddha replied: King! if you want to eliminate earthly distress, dissatisfactions, and desires, make a circular string of 108 bodhi seed and holding them always to yourself to recite “I take refuge in the Buddha (empty unqualified mind), I take refuge in the dharma (mental energy discipline), I take refuge in the Sangha (community) of support. Count one bead with each recitation of these three. Beads are way of tactile engagement to our worries.
The repetitive movements combined with chant and intensive prostration of 108 physical strength helps to calm the general anxiety, body, mind and speech to attain higher meditative absorption. The number may mathematically make sense from a Buddhist point of view.
There are six varieties of dependent arising delusion that can occur when we experience an object in our awareness: delusion via eyes, the ears, the nose, the tongue, the touch, and the mind. Each of these objects can in turn be perceived in the past, present, and future which are conditioned with darkness and light simultaneously. Through the mantra your mind is collected and focused on one point at the cost of all other thoughts. Your final goal is to make the mind “thought-less “or free of distraction and disturbance. You start with a mantra then mantra brings you the real benefit: it slowly dissolves, leaving your mind completely still and free.

Senior Chair Yoga & Meditation:
Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal god, avoids dogmas, and theology; it covers both the natural and spiritual world; and it is based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things, natural and spiritual, as a meaningful unity”.

Old age can be a time of great sorrow, but also a great healing for compassionate aging. Yoga is the way to vitality, health, and rejuvenating energy in the prime of life. These long hard years can work if one can learn very different values from the ones we hold now. This stage in the life of a person requires courage forbearance, stoicism, and the ability to laugh and to let go to forget problems. It requires the abilities to assert needs, to communicate coherently, openly, and to process pain intuitively.
Pain, which makes people needy, also makes many people cranky and drives away potential helpers. Even tension between couples or family can worsen as one person feels his or her disease is exacerbated by stress. Successful resolution in safe and intelligent behavior change in activities of daily life allows the old-old to feel respected and at peace with himself, families, and caregiver.
It is never too late to change bad habits and retune your body to use your energy more constructively. The truth is, though there aren’t many athletes who can pursue their sports into old-old age. Simple chair yoga-deep breathing and meditation exercise provides pleasure, reflective goodwill, relieves stress, and keeps people centered and optimistic. The postures release stiffness and tension, help the inner balance of the spine, renew energy and restore health and put you in touch with your inner strength. Without it, many people lose mental acuity and grow depressed and anxious.
People feel about their bodies, as poet Yeats put it, that they are “tied to a dying animal.” Yoga postures are design to develop overall strength, flexibility, mobility, bone density, stimulates the cardiovascular and respiratory systems to a range of body positions that are otherwise impossible. Even short periods of regular, daily yoga practice can lead to positive changes in your quality of life, however old you are.
Physically it promotes stability, energy, flexibility and relaxation. Mentally it promotes concentration, balance and tranquility. The poses are specially tailored to integrate the limbs with the torso, and they bring awareness to the respiratory and pelvic diaphragms as well as to the deep muscles of the abdomen, pelvis and lower back. It operates the nervous system information gathering and healing networking from all over the body and they integrate the energy of thoughts, emotions and body from top to bottom and from inside out into a single experience of awareness.
In a certain way when these three areas come together, it creates a feeling of completeness and integration that will deepen meditation. Meditation may be viewed as consisting of two divisions. The first is the accumulation of merit which here is the path of ethical discipline with food, friends, and constant suffering from clinging to life, ownership of worldly things, and desire. The second is the accumulation of wisdom, which is the realization of Buddha’s profound cosmic laws of impermanence that leads one to the transcending awakening. Meditation calms the mind, produces the correctives of removing the defilements, and establishes the foundation of mindfulness which leads one to understand impermanence, suffering, selflessness, and emptiness.
